I like Spotify; it is a nice service and I am happy to pay them a reasonable price to listen to music.

That said, why they insane amount of trackers? Why the documented dark patterns of data selling and psychology mapping?

I get ads; that is what makes so much of the internet "free". However, if you pay for a service, you should have, at a minimum, the ability to turn off all tracking/data collection and sale.

I guess I will go back to listening to YouTube channels with nearly 70 trackers disabled...
